Aptitude welcomes Estonia as a new member of the consortium. With this addition, Aptitude now brings together more than 141 public and private partners across 13 countries, united in their effort to make the EU Digital Identity Wallet (EUDIW) a reality for citizens across Europe.
Estonia will be represented in the consortium by Estonian Information System Authority (RIA), Cybernetica AS, Zetes Estonia OÜ, SK ID Solutions AS and as observer the IT and Development Centre of the Estonian Ministry of the Interior (SMIT). Together, these organizations will contribute expertise in digital identity, e-governance, cybersecurity, trust services, and stakeholder engagement, further strengthening the consortium’s capabilities and supporting the successful implementation of the EU Digital Identity Wallet.
“Participating in the major project Aptitude is highly important for us, as it provides us with valuable experience in implementing the pan-European digital wallet and enables us to test the functioning of cross-border solutions at an early stage.”
Jaan Murumets, Architect, Estonian Information System Authority
