EUDI ON 2026, held on 25 June 2026 at Cafe Moskau in Berlin and online, brought together more than 400 representatives from the international digital identity community to exchange on the next steps towards a European ecosystem for digital identities.
The event focused on the current progress of the German EUDI Wallet project, including practical use cases, sandbox activities and the interaction between the many stakeholders shaping the wallet ecosystem. Public authorities, companies, wallet providers, credential issuers and relying parties all have a key role to play in making the EUDI Wallet useful, trusted and scalable.
Through expert sessions, discussions and interactive formats, EUDI ON 2026 showed how the wallet ecosystem is moving from concepts to concrete implementation. The solutions presented by exhibitors demonstrated how digital identities can be applied securely and in a user-friendly way, while the German EUDI Wallet Sandbox highlighted how organisations can test the integration of wallet-based services into existing processes.
For Aptitude, the event provided an important opportunity to engage with ongoing developments at national and European level, with a strong focus on interoperability, practical testing and service integration.
EUDI ON 2026 underlined that the success of the European Digital Identity Wallet will depend not only on standards and technology, but also on collaboration, trust and the ability of the ecosystem to develop practical solutions together.
